Volunteering provides an excellent opportunity to network with leaders and peers in the Atlantic Canada human resources marketplace.  By volunteering your time and expertise, you contribute directly to the continued growth and success of the HR profession.

Opportunities to volunteer for the 2016 conference will be available in the following areas:

  • Registration (i.e. registration kit assembly; name badge assembly; distribution of registration kits and name badges as delegates arrive; respond to questions/needs of delegates; etc.).
  • Education (i.e. greet speakers; ensure set up of room is accurate; distribute speaker materials to attendees; etc.).
  • HRANB Awards of Excellence ((i.e. assist with set up – décor, distribution of print materials, etc.; greet guests as they arrive; etc.).
  • Social (i.e. assist with set-up; distribution of print materials to delegates; etc.).
  • Tradeshow (i.e. help with trade show set up – layout of booths; ensure pre-shipped items are delivered to appropriate booth space; greet exhibitors; tear down of trade show area; etc.).

Roles and responsibilities will vary and will be assigned to you on-site, though we will accommodate your stated preferences to the best of our ability.

For each half day you volunteer, you will receive the opportunity to attend a half day of education sessions for free.
